Team Taction is a JKD influenced competitive Mixed Martial Arts Program. We meet up to seven hours a week with morning and evening classes for those of you with hectic schedules. Our team participates in Reno and California’s amateur and professional MMA circuit. The academy also holds it’s own “combat exhibitions” showcasing Kali, kickboxing & MMA matches every six months. Muay Thai Kickboxing, Brazilian Jui Jitsu, Jeet Kune Do kickboxing, &Ssavate` (french kickboxing are just a few of the arts that you will be exposed to.

What separates our MMA program from the rest of them is our dedication to improving personal attributes. We use Filipino Kali stick/knife fighting  drills to develop and enhance attributes such as, torque in your striking, reaction time, accuracy, footwork, speed, balance while in motion, & body angulation. If you can deal with a stick traveling at high speeds, than someone throwing a punch or kick at you, should be much easier to deal with. All members have full access to tailor made workout plans, and certified nutritional advise, free weights, kettle bells, and Cardio Tires.  Plus you are welcome to attend our open gym hours.
